You may cancel any recurring subscription or membership, if applicable, through your account settings or by contacting San Diego Striders Athletic Club. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Event registrations, memberships, donations, and other payments may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.

  • Weather-related risks
  • Traffic or road hazards
  • Equipment failure
  • Dehydration or heat-related conditions
  • Other risks associated with athletic participation

By participating in any activity, event, or program associated with San Diego Striders Athletic Club, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.

You are responsible for determining whether you are physically fit and medically able to participate. You should consult a medical professional before beginning any new exercise program or participating in athletic events.


10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages for:

  • Personal injury
  • Property damage
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Unauthorized access to your information
  • Canceled, delayed, modified, or unavailable events or activities

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose; or
  • $100

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

  • Your participation in any club activity, event, training session, race, or program

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in San Diego County, California, unless otherwise required by law.

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to first contact San Diego Striders Athletic Club and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, disputes will be handled in accordance with the governing law and jurisdiction stated above.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Diego County, California, rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced in these Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and San Diego Striders Athletic Club regarding the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
